KBR has awarded AWI a new contract under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program to provide firefighting equipment in Iraq.

Basra, Iraq - March 22, 2018

AWI has been awarded the construction contract by OilSERV for ExxonMobil Limited Iraq’s Mobile Oil Treating and Desalting unit (MOTD) located adjacent to the fence of existing Degassing Satiation (DS-7), West Qurna 1 Oilfield, Basrah, Iraq.

Under the terms of the contract, AWI will provide early civil works, screw piles installation, civil works, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning of the Crude Oil treating facility.

As information technology and security services provider, AWI implements and integrates information systems and process control in addition to deploying telecommunications, automated security and access control systems.

Kuwait Energy is currently exploring and developing Block 9 oilfield near Basra, Iraq. AWI was commissioned by Kuwait Energy to upgrade the IT and Security Infrastructures of the office and living accommodation supporting the operation. AWI’s scope of work includes the design, supply, delivery, installation and testing of new infrastructure, CISCO network equipment, servers, meeting room video conference device, IP TV system, CCTV system and IBM storage.
