2 years after the successful construction of ExxonMobil’s Building and Facility in WQ1, AWI has been called upon once again to upgrade the current building’s infrastructure and framework. The civil works are set to begin this September of 2017.

Cameron engineers, designs, and manufactures flow and pressure control technologies for customers working in the oil and gas industry worldwide. In Iraq, Cameron and AWI have been one of the prominent global organization that provide support and deliver services using modern leading technologies.

AWI started the fabrication of 150 tons of pipe racks for ExxonMobil and SOC. Scheduled to be done by December of this year, the pipe racks are to be erected along with 15,000 dia-inch of pipe vessels in DS7. AWI also worked with Cameron with their piping works at DS6.

Since 2012, AWI has been a long-standing partner of ExxonMobil Iraq in commissioning contractual works in Iraq. AWI has established itself as one of the leading companies in the provision of innovative and high-quality technologies in the Iraq region.

This June, AWI is tasked to with upgrading the existing water supply and water treatment system in ExxonMobil’s camp in Oasis Compound in Basra, Iraq. The said upgrade will include the supply and installation of new water tanks, pumps, RO units/ UV systems and other framework jobs essential to the current system. AWI has just completed a security and telecoms upgrade for ExxonMobil’s facility in Oasis compound as well earlier this month.

Exxon operate in most of the world's countries including Iraq. They focus on products that drive modern transportation, power cities, lubricate industry and provide petrochemical building blocks that lead to thousands of consumer goods.

For 2017, AWI has been commissioned to provide NDT and NDE services for Exxon’s piping projects, vessels and tanks. Scope of services include a wide range of inspection and flaw detection for booster pumps, manifolds and Gathering System Projects (GSP).

Austria - June 03, 2017

With over 47 years of experience in Iraqi Oil and Gas Industry, AWI is continuously intensifying its network by expanding operations in Europe and other parts of the world to further solidify its name as one of the most-renowned company in the contracting business.

This June, KBR commissioned AWI to supply equipment to their base in Austria. For over a decade now, AWI has been providing numerous services to KBR including equipment rental, procurement services and construction. Last May, KBR also awarded AWI the HAZMAT service at their facility in Hungary.

British Petroleum has tasked AWI to develop a waste management mechanism in North Rumaila. This service shall both benefit the community and the environment respectively. AWI will collect and remove scraped metal and waste in a priority order to create an instant positive impact to Rumaila Oil Field and its local community.

Iraq - February 21, 2017

AWI awarded multiple contracts to supply fifteen (15) highly specialized ARFF and Structural Firefighting Trucks to support our client’s mission critical support around Iraq.

These fire trucks were procured from the US and the UK and delivered to Iraq. Transporting the equipment was one of the biggest challenges that company’s face due to the uncertainty of the surrounding perimeter and safety issues. AWI considered different means to deliver the equipment safely and securely including the use of air freight. Thus, AWI has sought permission from Iraq Ministry of Defense and the Iraq Civil Aviation Authority to execute the mission of flying this equipment to Iraq.

Iraq - February 21, 2017

AWI announced today that its equipment lease services has been awarded to support our client’s mission critical support in Iraq.

AWI will supply four (4) ARFF trucks, two (2) Structural Tanker truck, two (2) Structural Firefighting trucks, two (2) Fire Command vehicles and one (1) 1000gallons Foam Trailer for a period of 1 year with Two optional extension years.

AWI provides all materials, labor, supervision, transportation and insurance, the lease also includes all maintenance required to keep the equipment in good working condition.

West Qurna 1 Basra, Iraq - February 16, 2017

AWI announced today its fabrication and installation services has been awarded by Cameron PTE Ltd. to support their DS7 Project in Iraq. AWI will provide wash water area piping fabrication, pipe spool fabrication and piping site installation at West Qurna 1, Basra in Iraq. This project will include the fabrication and installation of seven pipe racks, the fabrication and installation of 1500 number of spools, the installation of 5 large vessels, eight pumps, and multiple smaller pieces of equipment. AWI will also provide manpower, logistics and procurement services.
