AWI Signs 10-Year Land Lease to Establish Facilities at Rumaila Oilfield

Rumaila Oilfield, Iraq - June 22, 2014

AWI announced today that they have signed a 10 year lease for 50 thousand square meters of land with the South Oil Company in the Rumaila Oilfield.

AWI will establish state of the art fabrication, coating, accommodation, administrative, and warehousing facilities as well as laboratories and a certification center. With the establishment of these facilities AWI will be capable to provide immediate access to customers at the Rumaila and West Qurna Oilfields. This secure facility will have the ability to accommodate foreign laborers, and reduce security and transportation costs.
